D.A.R. Old Whitehouse Chapter Memorial Park

In Whitehouse, NJ is this small cemetery that’s a little confusing to get into. My friend and I were determined to get in and we were victorious.

This cemetery is the final resting place for many Revolutionary War soldiers. Quite a few headstones are no longer legible, but some are lucky enough to have modern plaques. The D.A.R. does a beautiful job preserving and maintaining this cemetery. I can’t find when this cemetery was founded or really much other information other than a little on this website. It shows the earliest burial on the list was 1817, but I truly do not know if it predates this.
